What the editorial code uses
The static editorial pages and their script do not set cookies or use localStorage or sessionStorage. They do not include analytics, advertising trackers or third-party embeds. Navigation state, scroll effects and message preparation are held temporarily in the page.
Any separately provided hosting or consent layer is outside that editorial script. If a consent control is presented, use its choices and accompanying information to manage the technologies it describes. A choice about optional technologies should not be treated as permission for unrelated processing.
Cookies are not the same as a download
A cookie is a small value a website can ask a browser to store and send with later requests. Web storage, such as localStorage, is a different browser mechanism. A downloaded text file is a document you choose to save on your device; it is not a cookie.
The suggestion tool creates a text file only when you select “Download .txt.” “Copy plain text” asks the browser to write your draft to the clipboard. Neither action sends the message to us. Browser permissions, clipboard history and device synchronisation are controlled by your own software and settings.
Browser caching and technical services
Your browser may cache pages, styles and images to make repeat visits faster. It may also offer autofill or restore form content independently of this site’s code. Hosting infrastructure may process request information for delivery and security. The absence of editorial tracking code is not a promise that no technical information is processed anywhere.
Your controls
You can inspect and clear site data using your browser’s privacy settings. You can restrict cookies, clear cached files, manage autofill and change clipboard permissions. These controls vary by browser. Deleting site data does not delete an email you have sent, a file you downloaded or text retained in clipboard history.
If optional technologies are introduced, information and consent controls should describe them before they are activated where consent is required. For wider information handling, read Visitor Privacy. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
